Anne Leon


With a Diploma in Fine Art and a love of textiles, Anne Leon has led a rich artistic career spanning 30 years.  Her vast experience encompasses screen, lino and block printing, hand painting, marbling,
batik, Shibori, and natural plant dying.  


Anne Leon’s fabric design studio produces custom hand-printed paper and textiles on a range of fabrics from fine silk to cotton, hemp, wool and furnishing canvas.

World Expo ’88 saw the launching of some of
Anne’s finest and most publicised hand-painted silk Butterfly wings used in the daytime parade by the stilt walkers.  She is regularly commissioned by festivals, casinos,resorts, and hotels to produce unique hand-painted silk banners, flags and wall panels.  She works with Interior Designers, Architects, Couturiers and Corporations both domestically and internationally.  Her unique and versatile style has earned her large commissions from clients such as The Hyatt Hotel Group; Fiji Outrigger; Sandy Lane, Barbados; Jupiter’s Casino, Gold Coast; Reef Casino, Cairns; Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and many more.
