Discover new techniques and materials for adding texture and detail to your textile art.

Interpretation and the way we see is personal. However, by having a closer look the participant will experience at least two ways of interpreting the same theme.

This workshop will highlight how applying different techniques, using different materials and methods lead to different end results. Techniques including fabric painting, Tyvektex, and machine free motion stitching will bring your interpretations to life.

The work shop will extend and / or incorporate the use of different materials to achieve interesting contrasts and impact. Participants will have the freedom to choose which of two paths they follow. However, some

techniques will be common to both. Participants may work from their own scene or are welcome to use mine. A main objective is to complete the project to include the finer points of finishing. I also like to make preparation (ie, requirements) as easy as possible for participants.
