Making Bags in Leather

Work with a professional Leather Craftsman.
Learn to design and make your own bag, or any other object.
I will take you through leathers; which to use and how to cut accurately and economically.
Understand your tools, materials and available products and acquire the techniques to apply your patterns to make a finished piece.
Course Requirements: Your own good sewing machine of any age, leather needles and suitable threads.
Birch, or similar, cutting mat.
28mm cutting knife, good scissors.
Measuring tape, steel rule.
Optional items: Any leather working tools you have. Silver marking pen. Punches, and shoemaking hammer.
Please bring any suitable leathers or materials, or embellishments. I will bring a selection of fine skins, of good quality, some interesting finishes and effects too. These will be available to purchase at reasonable cost. I will have a small supply of fittings, knives and blades, scissors, strapping, buckles etc.
