Join printmaker Seraphina Martin to discover stimulating ways to make a fine art print on state of the art papers as well as some fabrics.
Techniques offered are Solar Plate Etching incorporating photographs using the sun and water to etch a plate.
Drypoint Etching transforms your drawings into rich soft tonal atmospheric prints.
Monoprinting explores exciting textures found in lace, feathers, fabrics, leaves and flora from nature which will be assembled and printed on the press.
Many experimental printing processes will be demonstrated and applied. These are A La Poupee, Chine Collee collage, Viscosity printing using colour rolls, to produce a stunning print portfolio of up to 15 colourful State of the Art prints.
All forms of printmaking techniques offered are all non-toxic.
All levels welcome.
